Weddings

At Harptrees Photography we understand that planning a wedding can be VERY expensive so when you book your wedding with us, the only financial commitment you make before the day itself is for our time and a full resolution CD. This is GREAT if you are on a limited budget or if you would like to spend more money on other things which have to be paid for up front.

The cost of 3 hours photography is £550 and 5 hours £650. Both include a full resolution, downloadable/printable CD of all of the proofs. 3 hours will usually cover from arrival at the Church and 5 hours should include some of the Bride getting ready, up until the start of the wedding breakfast.

Following the wedding the proofs are uploaded to our website for you and your guests to see. It will be password-protected unless you request otherwise. I will send you the CD and then at your leisure you can consider an album and/or framed photographs. The benefit of structuring your photography in this way is that as well as saving money before the wedding, you get to choose an album from the most up-to-date ranges. After all you may well have booked your wedding photography a year or more in advance and a lot can change in that time; new advances in technology can mean more contemporary, smarter and more innovative products and together we can work out your preferred style. It also gives you the chance to re-assess your budget, how much you have to spend on the album now you no longer have other wedding expenses to pay for or even save up over a period of time with no pressure to make a decision.

You should expect to pay between £300 and £750 for an album.

Portraits

Portrait sittings are £25 with a minimum spend on pictures of £55 (in the unlikely event you don’t like the pictures you can simply not spend anything).The price of a 15 by 12 framed photograph is £168. Or you can pay £50 for a portrait sitting with no minimum spend. The price of a 10 by 8 unframed photograph is £25.

Presentation options are albums – storybook, contempory, traditional with mounted images and small CD albums. Frames can be modern or traditional in woods or metal. We also offer canvasses and acrylic blocks. If you would rather not have your photographs used on our website or other marketing material, please let me know when you book.

General Information

I believe in creating bespoke packages, rather than make your requirements fit what I offer.  This means that I will do what I can to find a product that you love from whatever there is available on the market. This does not mean that I am more expensive than other photographers with set packages. In fact I can usually offer you your perfect  memories for less than most other local or national photographers. This doesn’t mean that I provide an inferior service or product and I believe that everyone has the right to charge what they wish, but it is simply the way that I like to work.
